Project Info>

A first of its kind in California. The District chose to develop a medical magnet high school in collaboration with Kaiser Permanente. The site was chosen adjacent to the new Kaiser Hospital in Antioch. The academic curriculum took over 2 years in devlopment designed to educate high school students in preparation for any form of work in the medical field. This 900 student campus also served to shrink the oversize populated comprehensive high school. The campus has over 50,000 square feet of facility with a Gymnasium and all other essential facilities. Remarkably, this campus was constructed using Hardship funding from the state.
