ATI is in its fifth year as the Campus Engineer for California State University East Bay, supporting both Hayward and Concord Campuses.  During this timeframe, ATI has completed more than three dozen design projects, including working side-by-side with the University’s Staff to solve planning issues.

Based on the time line of these new buildings and their associated utility demands, ATI projected the point in time where demand for each utility would exceed the current capacity.  ATI then devoted overall design elements for each of the over-subscribed utilities and projected costs associated with implementing an appropriate design element for each.

ATI has also carried out several Mechanical, Electrical and Structural Engineering projects for remodel, retrofit, and tenant improvements in various buildings on the Campus including HVAC upgrades for facility improvements, cooling tower replacement for the Student Health Center and an HVAC system for the telecommunications center.   ATI has provided parking lot master plan and parking lot upgrades involving civil and electrical engineering services.  The projects under program include 12 KV manhole replacements, parking lot upgrade, civil engineering design for the new Recreation and Wellness Center, and replacement of two old substations at the Health Center and Theater Buildings.
