ATI was commissioned to assist both the retail private developer/owner and the owner of Mi Pueblo Foods to renovate a 1960s era shopping center centered in a Hispanic Neighborhood with upscale point of destination shopping. Both the Mi Pueblo projects were complicated with needs to expand and complete a seismic upgrade. The new Mi Pueblo in Oakland occupies an abandoned 32,200 sf. Albertsons grocery store on High Street.

Central to both projects was the mission style architecture with vibrant colors. The Mi Pueblo Food Stores were immediate successes upon their opening..
